Vast range of applications

Triflex Towersafe is the tower and foundation waterproofing for wind turbines. The storage reservoir of the Vlotho purification plant was quickly refurbished using the Triflex ProTect liquid applied waterproofing system.

Triflex develops innovative liquid applied waterproofing and coating systems for almost every job. We have systems for protecting joints, industrial floors, equipment rooms, wind turbines and water management facilities which meet our customers’ every requirement long-term. We would be happy to use our many years of experience to assist you with your particular project.

Triflex JWS

Waterproof joints

Applications: Waterproofing joints in waterproof concrete

Triflex JWS is a waterproofing system for joints in waterproof concrete. This liquid applied waterproofing system with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) base provides reliable protection against the ingress of moisture. Whether flat roofs, parking decks or other surfaces: Triflex JWS provides lasting protection against corrosion of the concrete surface. Three hours after application, the waterproofed joint has reached full strength.

Other benefits at a glance:

  • Resistant to hydrolysis
  • No underflow
  • Joint-bridging
  • Flexible in low temperatures
  • Full-surface bonding

Triflex Towersafe

Sturdy wind turbines

Applications: Tower and foundation waterproofing

We designed the long-life waterproofing system Triflex Towersafe exclusively to meet the requirements of wind turbines. Their exposed location and their design mean that they are subject to exceptionally high loads. Since the wind’s energy partly acts on the tower and foundation, cracks often arise in the foundation, and moisture penetrates the structure through these cracks. Triflex Towersafe helps remedy this. Thanks to its flexible special-purpose fleece reinforcement, the liquid applied waterproofing system is permanently resilient and provides all wind turbines with lasting protection.

Other benefits at a glance:

  • Seamless and jointless waterproofing, even of complex details
  • For new and existing turbines
  • Weather-resistant
  • Can be used on areas in contact with the soil
  • Versatile and customised variants
  • European Technical Approval with CE mark

Triflex IWS-557

Reliable protection for equipment

Applications: Waterproofing equipment rooms

Triflex IWS-557 is the waterproofing system for equipment rooms. The full-surface reinforced system with polyurethane resin (PU) base has high mechanical strength and offers full-substrate bonding. Triflex IWS-557 has impressive chemical resistance and is odourless. The surfaces of the liquid applied waterproofing systems can also be customised to meet individual requirements.

Other benefits at a glance:

  • Seamless
  • Can be applied cold
  • Mechanically strong
  • Versatile and customised variants
  • Waterproof down to the smallest detail

Triflex IFS-550

Hard-wearing industrial floors

Applications: Coating industrial floors

Triflex has the ideal liquid applied waterproofing system for non-slip and chemical-resistant industrial floors: Triflex IFS-550. The two-component solvent-free coating system is manufactured on the basis of high-quality polyurethane resin (PU). Mixing in different silica sands and chips gives Triflex IFS-550 a range of non-slip classes without affecting the colour.

Other benefits at a glance:

  • Odourless
  • Gloss finish
  • Hard-wearing
  • Mechanically strong
  • Chemical-resistant
